We were honoured to welcome His Excellency, Ambassador Luis Camara de Barros, Head of the Diplomatic Mission of Guinea-Bissau in Banjul, paid a courtesy visit to the Institute for Human Rights and Development in Africa (IHRDA) headquarters in January 2026.

Met by our Executive Director, Dr. Musa Kika , and Deputy Executive Director Michael Gyan Nyarko, the visit served as a pivotal moment for deepening our collaboration with the Guinean authorities. The discussions focused on a strategic roadmap to support the National Human Rights Commission of Guinea-Bissau, specifically through technical training and assistance in producing national periodic human rights reports.
