We were honoured to welcome His Excellency, Ambassador Luis Camara de Barros, Head of the Diplomatic Mission of Guinea-Bissau in Banjul, paid a courtesy visit to the Institute for Human Rights and Development in Africa (IHRDA) headquarters in January 2026.

Met by our Executive Director, Dr. Musa Kika and Deputy Executive Director Michael Gyan Nyarko, the visit served as a pivotal moment for deepening our collaboration with the Guinean authorities. The discussions focused on a strategic roadmap to support the National Human Rights Commission of Guinea-Bissau, specifically through technical training and assistance in producing national periodic human rights reports.
