IHRDA has over the years been funded by a wide range of both public and private development partners. IHRDA is annually independently audited and has achieved unqualified audits for decades.

In 2026, IHRDA successfully obtained an Equivalency Determination (ED) with Latitude Global and NGO Source, confirming its status as the equivalent of a U.S. public charity and enabling tax-compliant international funding.
