The African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (AfCHPR) is seeking to recruit an account assistant with significant experience in preparing budgets, budget execution monitoring and production of various financial reports.

The AfCHPR is a continental court established by African countries to ensure the protection of human and peoples’ rights in Africa. It complements and reinforces the functions of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

Among other requirements for this position, candidates must have;

• An Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education and a Diploma in Accounting or in Finance or in related disciplines. A higher qualification in the requested field will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of five (5) years relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably in an international organization and
• Good knowledge of the African human rights system.
