Cynthia Rollings

Cynthia Rollings is an accomplished civil rights lawyer and a partner at the law firm Beldock Levine & Hoffman LLP. She holds a JD from the New York University School of Law and a Master’s in Public Health from the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. Admitted to the New York Bar in 1974, she previously served as the Director of Law Reform and Community Development at the Bedford Stuyvesant Community Legal Services Corporation.

Throughout her career, Ms. Rollings has successfully litigated a wide spectrum of cases, including constitutional and employment actions for individuals and class counsel for major New York cultural institutions and political figures. She specializes in professional disputes involving physicians and university faculty within academic and health care institutions. Ms. Rollings practices in both federal and state courts, as well as before administrative tribunals, and possesses extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution as both a neutral and a party representative.

She has served as a volunteer attorney for the International Senior Lawyers Project on projects in Kosovo, Nigeria, Cambodia and Nepal and at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania. She also served as the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) Pro Bono Legal Specialist for Nepal.
