On 28-30 September 2015, major actors (including representatives of Government, civil society, national institutions for human rights, universities and the media) met in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to present progress made since February 2015 in preventing and reducing statelessness within the ECOWAS sub-region, and to discuss modalities to implement the Abidjan Declaration. The event was jointly organized by OSIWA and UNHCR.
