At 57th Ordinary Session of ACHPR: IHRDA presents Statement on implementation of the Commission’s decision in Communication 292/04, IHRDA / Angola

5 Nov 2015, IHRDA urged the Commission to take measures to follow-up the implementation of its decision in favour of more than a dozen Gambians among over 126,000 foreigners unlawfully deported from Angola between March and May 2004. IHRDA filed the Communication against Angola before the Commission in 2004 and obtained a favourable decision in 2008; but little has been done to implement this decision.
