Open letter of ACERWC Chairperson to President of Senegal – case of children begging on streets

Following the decision of H.E. Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, to stop the use of children as beggars in the streets of Senegal, the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACERWC) has commended this major step in combatting children’s rights abuse.
