This case was filed before the High Court of Sakania in the Katanga province of the DRC. It deals with the forced evictions of hundreds of Congolese living in the village of Kishiba. One of IHRDA’s Legal Officers went on a mission to the DRC on 13-15 October 2015 to assess progress made in the case. We are still waiting for a written opinion from the office of the Public Prosecutor which will be sent to the High Court in Sakania for it to take a decision based on our submissions.
