On the 16th June 2014, the Institute for Human Rights and Development in Africa (IHRDA), participated in a parade organized by the National Agency Against Trafficking in Person (NAATIP), Gambia. The essence of the parade was to reiterate the impact human trafficking has on global development and how all must put hands on deck to combat it, especially in relation to women and children, who form the most vulnerable class of victims.
IHRDA was among more than 30 other participants form the government Ministries, Civil Society Organizations and other organizations.
